Cris would become my travel buddy and good friend over the weeks to come, Chin Yap would welcome me again and again into his life and his many cities, proving to be both great friend and fine connoisseur of Southeast Asian cuisine, while Jo and daughter Joeanna would generously invite me into their home in Kuala Lumpur. -Melaka, Malaysia
